SEPTEMBER 19 2009: We are very pleased to have Jane Grove back to do a workshop with us on Saturday, 19th September.
Her class this time will be on rectangular placemats or curved placemats which would suit a round table.
From Jane: "The techniques learned would be cross hatching quilting, machine embroidery (for those ladies interested) or appliqué using different edge techniques in addition to blanket stitching and satin stitching. Then, by using a double mitre ruler, I would teach how to do 90 and 60 degree mitre corners. This tool is a really great thing for placemats and turning backs over neatly to the front".
Class cost: $50 Kit price (which includes the double mitre ruler) - approx $55.
